Try the following solutions.
Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status
If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:
Solution 2: Restart your PC/tablet
Note Before you restart, save your work and close any apps you have open.
If there's a Power icon on your Start screen, tap or click it, and then select Restart. Otherwise, do the following:
Solution 3: Check for updates
Windows 10
If you use automatic updating, you don't need to check for important and recommended updates. Windows Update checks for these updates and installs them when they're ready.
If you don't use automatic updating, you should check for updates yourself at least once every week. We usually release important updates once a month. However, updates could be released at any time.
No matter what your settings are, some updates aren't installed automatically. These include optional updates and updates that require you to accept new Terms of Use. When these updates are available, Windows Update will let you know that they're ready to be installed.
Windows 8.1
To check for Windows updates, follow these steps:
If updating Windows doesn't resolve the problem, uninstall and then reinstall Microsoft Solitaire Collection.
Solution 4: Uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Solitaire Collection
Note If you don't normally sign in to Solitaire, uninstalling the app will erase all of your games and progress. However, if you sign in to Solitaire before you uninstall, all your data will be saved in the cloud, and any saved games will not be lost when you uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Solitaire Collection. You'll be able to pick up where you left off in any game you're currently playing.
Solution 5: Make sure your firewall/anti-virus isn't blocking the app
For Windows Firewall on Windows 10 or Windows 8.1, see Windows Firewall from start to finish.
Sinhala unicode for windows 10 online. The steps to unblock the Microsoft Solitaire Collection game (or any app that has to access Xbox Live), will vary depending on the anti-virus or firewall software that you use. Refer to the documentation for your anti-virus or firewall software to open the settings and make sure that the software is not blocking the app. If your anti-virus or firewall has an app 'whitelist,' you should make sure that your Xbox Live-enabled games are on this list.

Hello forum members, it's been awhile since I last posted anything. I've been busy testing and working with Windows 10. While the OS has improved I find that there are still numerous bugs to work out, even on the stable Anniversary Update build.
My problem today deals with one of the store apps, namely the Microsoft Solitaire Collection. The game was working fine for a long time, granted I only played it every so often, and then a few days ago I tried running it and it just closes and exits from the memory. Task manager shows that it does indeed crap out and close. If anyone knows why please inform me.
Now I figure it would be helpful to post some more detailed information about this issue. Yes I have googled the crap out of this problem before coming here. I chose to ask here because the Microsoft Answers site is a complete joke.
I think the problem started when I was trying to fix Cortana. Cortana I noticed no longer does web searches and the notebook settings tab is no longer there, so I tried to fix it. At one point I had her working again(not sure how I did it though) but then that's exactly when Solitaire stopped working correctly. I kept messing with the Windows Apps directory and the permissions on that folder because I am almost certain that the problem lies in access rights to the apps. Sadly my attempts to correct both of the issues resulted in the start menu and notifications center no longer flying out. So in that case I used system restore to take me back about 3 days and that fix the system back to a state where Solitaire worked but I lost Cortana's advanced search functions again.
So I tried again to work on Cortana and repeated what I thought was the correct steps to fix it but it didn't work this time around, and now this has messed up Solitaire again, I just can't seem to win with Win 10. Cortana aside I just don't care to get the web search and other functions of Cortana back, and I just recently did the 3rd fresh install of Windows 10 from scratch, I'm not doing that again to fix Cortana or Solitaire.
All the other apps work fine and that is what's got me lost. Why is it that only Solitaire is failing to launch? I've done the sfc /scannow a bunch of times and it reports no integrity violations. The DISM tools is unable to find a source even when I explicitly told it where the install.esd file is and used both a flash drive and mounted ISO image for the source data. Both failed to find the source files. I've ran the Get-App whatever registration command to re-register all the apps more times than I can remember. That screen is full of info some apps install fine others throw red error messages that are to cryptic to really understand and points to missing manifests. I've even taken the System apps and Windows apps folders from another working system and copied the various data's over to their respective folders to try and correct for corrupt or missing data. Even with directory ownership and removing specific folders and restoring them from the uncorrected backup fails to correct it.
This leads me to think the problem is either in the registry somewhere or in the folder permissions. Which are currently owned by my user account name Britton and applied to all subfolders in the Windows Apps folder only. I left the System apps folder alone because last time I messed with that one it locked up the start menu and notification center prompting a system restore. I'm going to make TrustedInstaller the owner of the Windows apps folder again becuase that is the default owner of that folder, at least I'm pretty sure it is. All i know is either owner works and none of the apps except for Cortana and Solitaire seem to have a problem no matter who has ownership of that folder.
Anyway I know that is a lot to read through and to finish this up I'm posting an event log that might help figure this out. Below is the log for the Solitaire error. I'd like to fix Solitaire if possible, don't really care if Cortana works or not.

I've had my fair share of issues with Windows 10 and now I have another and need some help.
I was exploring Windows 10 tonight for the first time and noticed that in the Application list off the Start Menu it shows that I have Microsoft Solitaire Collection installed. Although I didn't install this app myself I assumed that it came as part of the Windows 10 install. When I launch the app it displays a splash screen for the app momentarily then the window closes. I have checked task manager and I don't see the app running so there must be some issue with the way the program is installed so I thought perhaps the best thing to do is to remove it and then reinstall it. I went into Control Panel and checked the Installed applications and could not find an entry for it in the list. I went out to the Store and I can find the app and it tells me that it's currently installed but doesn't seem to provide a means to remove the app or reinstall it. Can anyone tell me how to fix the app or remove it from Windows 10 so I can reinstall it?
Original title: Microsoft Solitaire Collection
I'm not sure if I should post this under Windows as it is part of Windows 10, or whether it should go into another forum, maybe Games.
When I changed to Windows 10 the Solitaire Collection worked perfectly. However at a later date it stopped working. The blue screen comes up with the title and then disappears and I'm back to the Desktop. At a later date I had to do a Windows 10 Refresh, which renews Windows and leaves your files there and your software still installed. This did not fix Solitaire. A couple of days ago, I had to a full Windows 10 Reset. After it finished I clicked on Solitaire and it worked fine going to the menu screen. I didn't select any game to play as I wanted to get on with re-installing Office 365 and my other software., also checking Windows 10 for updates. Since then Solitaire has stopped working again.
I have tried uninstalling it and re-installing it, and today I went to the Store and told it to upgrade. No change, still won't work.
A friend, who is a local computer guru, tells me that his contact in Microsoft has no ideas of the cause. He suggest I download Microsoft Jigsaw from the Store and see if that works. This I did, and it works fine.
Microsoft suggested I create another user on my computer and see if it works then. It did, but it is a pain having to change user just to play Solitaire.
I am guessing that a program I installed in the past caused the initial failure, and as I re-installed all the same programs it has caused the same problem.
In the old days of Windows 7, I would have used regedit to see what the differences were between the myself and the 'other user' in an attempt to fix the problem. But I've been told that using regedit in Windows 10 is very dangerous unless you really know what you are doing. So I'm unwilling to even attempt that.
One possible but very tedious way of trying to locate the cause of the problem would be to uninstall each of my programs in turn, do a restart and see if Solitaire runs. It took me a full day until 2:30 a.m. the next day to get them all re-installed and I really don't want to have to go through that procedure again.
